In 1965 Chief Apostle M R Thomas Emertitus was sent to Bedford to start a church. God was going to use him to build a jurisdiction of churches in many parts of the world.
On the 4th December 2021 Apostle Thomas step down as Chief Apostle of the Mount Zion Pentecostal Apostolic Church and Bible College after over 56 years of service. The baton was passed to Apostle Wesley Johnson as the new presiding prelate
